Board Certified Psychiatrist
Javier G. Taboda, MD, is a highly esteemed physician who possesses dual board certification in neurology and psychiatry. He takes great pride in being a valued member of the AZZ Medical Associates team, which has offices in Brick Township, Hamilton Township, and Ewing, New Jersey. Dr. Taboda has always held a deep appreciation for higher education. His academic journey began at the National University of Trujillo in Peru, where he focused on pre-medical studies. He continued his educational pursuits at the university’s School of Medicine, earning his medical degree. To further refine his expertise, Dr. Taboda completed residency training in neurology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., as well as at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Additionally, he undertook residency training in psychology at McGill University Montreal General Hospital in Canada and Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Having served in the United States Army as the chief of neurology in South Korea and South Carolina, Dr. Taboda’s professional background includes leadership and academic roles. He has also dedicated his skills to the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps.
