Dr. Spring R. Matthews is a dedicated primary care physician affiliated with AZZ Medical Associates, which operates primary care offices in Brick Township, Hamilton Township, and Ewing, New Jersey. Dr. Matthews completed her undergraduate studies at Hunter College in New York, New York, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She then pursued a dentistry degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. Following her dentistry training, she completed an internship in internal medicine at University Hospital, also located in Newark. Dr. Matthews further honed her skills through an internal medicine residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey. Before joining AZZ Medical Associates, Dr. Matthews accumulated a wealth of experience in various healthcare settings. She served as a school physician at a college, providing athletic physicals and outpatient primary care. Additionally, she managed inpatient hospital care for patients in a private practice setting, worked in an internal medicine group practice, and served as a physician on a medical review board. Dr. Matthews eagerly anticipates caring for both new and existing patients at AZZ Medical Associates.
