Edson J. Pineda, APN, is a highly accomplished adult nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in both patient care and healthcare administration. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Peter’s University and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Based in Bayonne, NJ, Edson has been providing comprehensive care for patients at Optum (formerly Riverside Medical Group) since 2013, managing a wide range of chronic and acute conditions, often as a solo practitioner.

Prior to this, he co-founded Pineda Medical Associates, where he was instrumental in expanding the practice to multiple locations and incorporating various specialists, including cardiologists and pulmonologists. His leadership not only drove the growth of the practice but also ensured the delivery of high-quality care to diverse patient populations.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Edson has served in various roles throughout his career, including as a charge nurse at Bayonne Medical Center and a cardiac rehabilitation nurse at Christ Hospital, where he managed post-myocardial infarction and post-heart transplant patients.

Edson has consistently demonstrated his commitment to improving healthcare access, volunteering at health fairs organised by Pineda Medical Associates to provide care to uninsured and underserved communities. Fluent in Spanish, he is also certified as an ultrasound and echocardiography technician, further enhancing his medical proficiency.
