Farhat Nageen, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician currently working at AZZ Medical Assocaites. She specializes in pediatric emergency care and private practice pediatrics. Dr. Nageen pursued her medical degree at Rawalpindi Medical College, where she earned her M.B.B.S. in 1983. She completed her pediatric residency at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital, affiliated with Columbia University, in New York, NY, from July 1993 to June 1996.

Before her current role, Dr. Nageen served in various esteemed positions. She worked as an emergency room physician at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, from January 2008 to January 2020. Additionally, she was a hospitalist in the Pediatric inpatient care unit at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, from January 2004 to December 2007. Her earlier career includes working as a hospitalist in the NICU and pediatric inpatient care at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital from October 1996 to December 2003.

Dr. Nageen’s international experience includes her tenure at King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Al Gassim, K.S.A., where she served as a hospitalist in the pediatrics department from September 1990 to June 1993. Her medical journey began at Holy Family Hospital, a 500-bed teaching hospital affiliated with Rawalpindi Medical College, where she worked from March 1986 to December 1989 in various departments, including OB/GYN, medicine, anesthesia, and general surgery.

Dr. Nageen is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 1996 and was recertified in 2003. She is also a candidate fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In her personal life, Dr. Nageen is married, a citizen of the United States, and enjoys contributing to her community’s healthcare needs through her extensive experience and dedication to pediatric care.
