Dr. Faizan Mohammad Anwar, M.D., is a dedicated and highly skilled medical provider specializing in Internal Medicine. He is currently a valued member of the medical team at various healthcare facilities in New Jersey, including NYCHHC Disaster Relief, HUMC Raritan Bay, and PennMedicine-Princeton Health. Dr. Anwar has played a vital role in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. As a NYCHHC Disaster Relief Covid Volunteer, he was deployed during the initial surge to manage COVID-19 patients across New York, specifically at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn. His dedication and expertise were instrumental in providing essential care to those in need during these challenging times. At HUMC Raritan Bay, Dr. Anwar serves as a Nocturnist in the Critical Care unit, delivering expert medical care to patients during the night hours. Additionally, he holds the position of Nocturnist at PennMedicine-Princeton Health, located at Princeton Medical Center, where he continues to provide exceptional care to patients. Dr.Mohammad F Anwar previous experience includes working as a Nocturnist and Hospitalist at various medical centers, such as Bayshore Medical Center, Raritan Bay Medical Center, and Riverview Medical Center. His expertise in managing patients during the night shift and his commitment to delivering high-quality care have been evident throughout his career. Prior to his clinical roles, Dr. Anwar worked as a Medical Reviewer at Clinco in Princeton, NJ. In this capacity, he played a crucial role in maintaining timely submission of expedited reports, identifying safety signals, and providing data-driven decisions to key stakeholders. He actively participated in Risk Management Committees and collaborated with other functional groups to monitor the safety profile of assigned products. Dr. Anwar completed his residency in Internal Medicine at HackensackUMC Mountainside in Glen Ridge, NJ. He also gained experience as a Drug Safety Coordinator at Imclone in Bridgewater, NJ. Dr. Faizan Mohammad Anwar obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University. He went on to earn his M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine. He has obtained various certifications, including ACLS and BLS, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Anwar also possesses skills in procedures such as Central Line Access, Arterial Line Access, and Endotracheal Intubation. As a member of prestigious professional societies, including the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Thoracic Society, Dr. Anwar remains at the forefront of advancements in his field.
