Barakat Elshaikh is a highly skilled internal medicine specialist. Barakat Elshaikh’s medical journey began at Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine, where he graduated in 2001. After a hiatus for a business venture in the U.S.A., he completed medical school in 2007 and went on to residency at Alexandria University Hospital until 2009. Barakat then served as a Primary Care Physician in Egypt until 2017. After relocating to the U.S., he prepared for the USMLE steps and engaged in observer ships and internships in NJ and PA. He later shadowed at JSUMC, volunteered there, and served as an Internal Medicine Resident (June 2020 – June 2023) and Internal Medicine Hospitalist.
