Dr. Ghazali Anwar Chaudry, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a highly skilled and experienced medical provider specializing in General Surgery and Bariatric Surgery. He currently holds the position of Chief, Surgical Service and Director of the Bariatric Surgery Program at the VA Medical Center in Pennsylvania, where he oversees an MBSAQIP accredited program. In addition, he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and The Commonwealth Medical College, Pennsylvania. Dr. Chaudry has also been actively involved as the Site Director of the General Surgery Residency Program at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Throughout his career, Dr. Chaudry has demonstrated a commitment to surgical education and training. He has served as a Supervisor for Surgical Academic Student Affiliates at Drexel University, overseeing programs at Kings College PA, Marywood PA, and the University of Scranton CRNA. Dr. Chaudry has also been an Instructor for the American College of Surgeons’ Advanced Trauma Life Support Program, ensuring that healthcare professionals receive the highest standard of trauma care training. Dr. Chaudry’s dedication to his profession extends beyond his clinical and academic roles. He has served as a Cancer Liaison Physician for the Commission on Cancer Program of the American College of Surgeons, actively contributing to the advancement of cancer care. Additionally, he has been involved as an Out of Operating Room Airway Management Simulation Instructor at WB VA Medical Center, enhancing the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals in airway management techniques. In his private practice, Dr. Chaudry focuses on General Surgery, with a special emphasis on Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatric Surgery.
