MA. Brigida S. Viaje is currently working at AZZ Medical Associates, bringing over 30 years of extensive experience in various Intensive Care Units and Telemetry. Known for her dedication and dependability, she possesses excellent working knowledge in numerous nursing skills, coupled with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels of care. MA. Brigida earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Monmouth University Graduate School, Long Branch, NJ, between 2014 and 2017, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City, Philippines. Her educational journey also includes earlier schooling at Saint Catherine Academy and Ilawod Central School in the Philippines, where she laid the foundation for her remarkable nursing career.

Ma. Brigida S. Viaje began her career in 1980 at Tobias Fornier Memorial Hospital, Philippines, working in the Emergency Department and ICU. From 1984 to 1989, she served in Riyadh Central Hospital, Saudi Arabia. She then moved to Riverview Medical Center, NJ, working in Surgical and Medical ICUs until 2000. During the 1990s, she held roles at Summer Hill Nursing Home, King James Nursing Home, and Everlasting Nursing Services. From 1999 to 2017, she worked in Critical Care at St. Peter’s University Hospital, NJ, followed by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Inman Medical Associates.

Ma. Brigida holds multiple certifications, including Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Critical Care Registered Nurse, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support. She is also an active member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) and the Philippine Nurses Association, New Brunswick, NJ. Her extensive experience and commitment to the nursing profession make her an invaluable asset to AZZ Medical Associates, where she continues to provide exceptional patient care.
